Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo

Step 1: Saturate your hair with warm water and massage your scalp to break up sediment and product residue before applying your shampoo.

Step 2: While your hair is still saturated, apply the shampoo and massage your scalp using the same technique your hairdresser uses when you go to your salon. Starting at the scalp is vital. Like your hairdresser, spend 3 minutes on your scalp. It’s not just an impromptu scalp massage. Scrubbing the scalp helps remove dirt, sebum, and build-up that collects there. Spending less than three minutes is like quickly running a mop over a dirty floor rather than scrubbing the grime off. Ewww.

IMPORTANT TIP… most people miss this!
Step 3: Thoroughly rinse the shampoo from your scalp and hair. Make sure to really rinse your hair. Any residue from the shampoo will make your hair feel heavy or unclean.
 You may want to shampoo twice if you use styling products, dry shampoos, if your hair is thick or coarse, or if you go several days between washing and have extra build-up. The second shampoo really lifts the impurities and cleans your hair. Plus you’ll find the second shampoo lathers up more easily.

Step 4:  Gently squeeze your hair to drain the excess water before using a conditioner. Your hair can become more brittle, susceptible to tangles, and prone to breakage if you skip the conditioner. We recommend using LuxeOrganix Argan Oil Conditioner with this shampoo.

So… rinse, rinse, rinse!

Total Life-Saver for Bleached-Ruined, Then Colored Hair

I had my hair bleached to get it back to “normal” and my hair was left feeling like an unraveled Brillo pad. Unfortunately it still needed color. After a short hair cut, I started using this product. My hair stylist had recommended something else that I used 1-2 times until I realized I could not stand the smell of it.

This shampoo and conditioner has a soft orange scent, just enough to smell refreshing but not overpowering at all. True, the shampoo does not lather up much, but it did not feel odd to me at all. (Personally, I think all the added chemicals in other shampoos is what causes that lather). I have used about half of the bottles (as well as a leave in conditioner) and my hair is much softer and sleeker feeling. I love that the ingredients are organic and safe for colored hair. I have not seen any change in my hair color (my stylist colored it, then I colored it with a bottle permanent color).

I would definitely recommend this product and even sent the product information to my stylist.

Great for Short, Fine, Naturally Curly Hair

I decided to order the trial size of this shampoo to try it out, after reading the reviews on it. I am very glad that I did. It is wonderful for my short, fine, naturally curly hair. It took me a while to finally review this product because I wanted to really take it for a test drive… Flash back to 3 months ago – my hair is frizzy, dry at the bottom, oily at the top, and my scalp seems to have an itchy case of dandruff year round. Gross, yet seemingly impossible to get rid of.

I tried every sulfate free/dye free/scent free etc hair care you could imagine. I tried medicated washes and sensitive scalp washes to no avail. Finally I found this product and gave it a shot.

My hopes were probably at a 5/100 that anything would change. But guess what – they did.

I’ve already purchased my second set (I have super long hair, I’m not sure how often people with shorter hair would need to buy this) from the company. The scent is like an orange creamsicle, which normally I do not like that scent/flavor, but now I do because I associate it with a healthy scalp and healthy hair. Recently I had my hair done for my friend’s wedding and the stylist complimented me repeatedly on how soft and lovely my hair was. I recommended this product to her, and everyone else in that room.

This is now my go-to shampoo/conditioner and I carry it with me when I travel.
